Domesticity
So yesterday I hosted Bab5. Made 2 lasagnes and 2 loaves of bread & heated up some Trader Joe's appetizer thingies from the freezer. Cleaned and somewhat baby-proofed house, played with/distracted baby between cooking and dishwashing. Fed something like 12 (?) people.
Today, cleaned dishes/kitchen with Rob in preparation for an inspection visit from my aunt (visiting from NJ). Now I have a cake in the oven and a loaf of bread in the breadmaker, with more bread to go in when this one finishes, all in preparation for party #1 of tomorrow. Been invited to 3 of them, might make it to 2. Hopefully the cake turns out well.
Smells like chocolate cake in here, for some reason...
