Trip? Perhaps not...

I've been looking for at least semi-reasonable flights to those down-underie sorts of places and haven't been finding anything. The best that I (and a couple of travel agency places) can find is to the tune of $1300 each, including all of those taxes and fees. Not reasonable in my book. :( And now the time-frame is getting rather compressed as we'd like to go for 3 weeks and need to be back by mid-November. Sad sad. *pout*

Thanks for all of your responses to my previous post, though, and hopefully they'll come in handy in the future. Of course, if any of you happen across applicable flight specials for us, I wouldn't be averse to hearing about them...
