Cell Phone Question

For those of you who have visited our place, and especially those who've used a cell phone while here, what company do you have your cell plan with? How was your reception up here? We want to get away from Sprint (lousy!) and we're thinking probably Verizon or AT&T. Input anybody?

Off to bed now. Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!

I have used T-Mobile, but don't recommend it, reception is spotty at your place.

I've used Verizon the one time I was there. But, I agree with eviladmin, don't get anything like his current cellphone including the (lack of) service!

According to T-Mobile: The quality of service that you receive at your place will be almost as dependant on your cell phone as it will be on your provider. This was one of the many little things that I learned while I worked there...

If you are having reception problems, my first suggestion would be to find someone else who has Sprint (Paisleychick, for example) and see how their reception is at your place with their phone. If it is better, you might want to consider changing your cell phones instead of your provider. Most providers will give discounts on upgrades to your cellphone if you've been with them for more than 6 months... Especially if you threaten to cancel if they don't. ;)

John's old cell phone did not work in our apartment (it'd get messages, but not calls), but the new one does. He has sprint.

I have T-Mobile, and an old phone at that, and the reception was fine when I was at your place.
