[Travel] On our way soon...

We were about to leave for the airport, but I just checked and our flight is delayed by at least 40 minutes. Soon though. Flying into Boston first for a whirlwind day of visiting with HS and college friends. Sort of possible we might make it to the Monday club over there, but unlikely, I think. Then on to the mad NJ family visitations. It's really the visit scheduling that can be mad, the families less so than many. Looks like we'll be in northern Jersey 12/21-25, central Jersey 12/25-27, northern 12/27-28, central 12/28-1/1. Just in case anyone wants to coordinate. I've been really bad about planning with non-family types after the Boston portion. :( Rob and I will both have our cells with us, so they're good for coordination, though we don't want to run over on our minutes again.

Must put a few more things in luggage, and close it up. Hopefully the house doesn't fall apart in our absence...

Just because your flight is delayed doesn't mean you can get there later.

John and I once got to the airport 20 minutes before our scheduled departure time, but about an hour before the the delayed time, and they wouldn't let us get on the plane. Maybe if we'd checked in before leaving...

No worries. We just cut down on our usual buffer. Plane ended up delayed by 2+ hours. :/
