When I want to have a *short* conversation with my mother, I should remember to call her while standing on a ladder and painting a wall. Kept the conversation down to 10 minutes or so, as she was afraid I was going to fall off the ladder. :)

Paint paint paint... I'm finally making progess on the living room. Taking a break for food right now, since I reached a stopping point. Then I shall paint some more! No bab5 for me tonight, as such productive moods need to be taken advantage of...

Well, you could've, but I actually called her to thank her for the card & check she gave us for the anniversary. That would've been a long conversation, though, as I *think I was on the phone w/you the previous day....
