Hm... I hadn't thought of that. I included a request for the Whooping Cough update on my next appointment, as that appears to be coming back into play, and I would hate to give it to the wee ones in my life. Flu shot is probably a good idea, too, though.

Thanks! I hadn't realized that it was safe to get a flu shot while pregnant, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it actually seems to protect the baby for the first few months as well.

Yeah, I was reminded about flu shots by a post on Parent Net (a tigernet list), and the protective properties for pregnant women were mentioned. It's a high-traffic list, but interesting, and will be a good resource in the future, I think.
